This small city in the Kurdistan province of Iran, known for some of the most high-quality hand-woven rugs. Rugs from this village most commonly showcased a Herati diamond, which resembles a flower with four leaves and 4 fish surrounding the flowers. The borders of Bidjar rugs are often made up of five borders with the main frame decorated with stylized boteh border.
